About 4 weeks ago honeyman and I took a trip to Stone Mt to try out a new lens he got me. Needless to say I need to practice some more. It was a bright sunny day and cool. OH how I wish those days would return, I want to get back to Stone Mt to practice some more and see my blackbird.
Cool Honeyman Dude....

Your photos are magic! During the year I lived in Marietta I made many trips to Stone Mountain!
I have never heard of this place, but your photos are gorgeous, there is something special about the colors. I would love to visit there. Your daisy photos below are amazing! I love the way you have them sitting on the window sill in the pretty green bottles.
Fantastic photos ! Looking forward to more ! Have a great day !
I love Stone Mountain - it's an amazing wonder. Have been there many times.
I love that purple in the duck - I don't think I've seen that before.
And I love the last couple pictures of the ducks too.
You are a great photographer.

born and raised in georiga and have never been to stone mountain. these are great photos, Tammy and I love the inside shots of the covered bridge. the ducks are so sharp the feathers look like i could touch them. I did no know stone mountain had a gate or that it is a park. i have seen photos of the carving before but never seen it myself.
The detail of Stone Mountain are so nice...I can see the feathers on the duck...and a touch of purple I have never seen
Tammy, the next time we get to GA, perhaps in late fall, I would like to take a return trip to Stone Mountain especially after reading your post. And I also like your new copyright logo design.
Looks like such a nice, peaceful place to visit. Thanks for sharing your day!
Tammy,
Nice story line and photos. Did you go there yesterday as you planned?
Turned out I really wouldn't have been able to join you as Katie was sick again and I had to play nurse maid all day and take her to the doctor. She has a bad sore throat.
Did you hear we are supposed to get temps in the hundreds next week?
Stay cool,
♥charlotte
this looks a great place, I love your shots!
I'd love to go to Stone Mountain some day...... the work is wonderful.
Your photography is perfection.... each picture is beautiful!
Glad you both were able to get out and "play" when you did! Temps are terrible and sounds like they will continue to be aweful into next week. Lovely bridge and love the duck. Hubby makes a very good model. Bet you paid him with a great dinner. Stay out of the heat!!! Please!
