What Do These Have In Common? & GOD's Perfect Timming.

The last of the lilies have bloomed but God reminded me I have all those lovely colors here in the house.
My sweet loud bundle of feathers. Are these colors awesome or what?

His wing is fine, he was just preening near it and had it hanging down.

Blessings from the lord come in all different size packages and his timming is perfect.
I have been driving my car around the block to keep it charged and to get my mind charged as well on learning how to drive again.  Its been sitting for 3 years while my leg has been healing. The other day I took it out only to find my air conditioner did not work. OH.... I was wringing wet when I got home. I got so upset as money has been flying out of this house lately with plumbing problems, shoring up the hillside with a retaining wall, cutting down trees and other repairs that seem to hit all at once and getting ready for my stepson to come stay should the need arise. Hubby took my car into the shop yesterday to have it checked out, all the while I wondering how much that bill would be and praying it was something simple like just a refill on Freon. 3 hours later hubby arrived with a sour look on his face. OH NO, I thought..... the bill must have been out of site....he hands me the bill and it was "NO CHARGE". The dealership said somehow the electrical connection came un-plugged. That was it.... they just had to plug the connections back together and the air came on. I got on my knees and thanked GOD for his meacy and that this dealership was honest. What an answer to prayer, "Free Service", you cant beat that.  The dealership folks were laughing too as you see, its a 1995 Mazda with only 42,000 miles on it. Each time its taken in for a check-up I have several offers to purchase it should I ever want to sell. I am the type that hangs onto a car till the wheels fall off.

May GOD bless you, be the blessing small or large and may he keep you all safe this holiday weekend.

What wonderful news!! Around here, the dealers are more dishonest than the independent garages. A dealer here would just as likely told us it was something expensive, and charged plenty. An honest dealer is hard to find. We have a Mazda, too! And we buy used cars and keep them till they fall apart. Did I know what is wrong with your leg? Your pictures are fantastic!!! Like a shot of ice water on a hot day. I never would have thought of posting these two together, what an effect!

That was certainly a blessing from heaven!
I love the bright colors in the pics.
Everything around here is nearly dead. We are just watering the plants we want to live in the yard and a couple of pot plants still blooming.
I hope your stepson continues to improve.

I LOVE that bird!!!! He's just the most beautiful and loveable looking thing!!! I had to laugh about your car. I thought I was the only one with a car that old. Mine is big, old Buick wagon -- 1994. It just won't die. And I've never, EVER had a problem with it. I get it serviced, new tires now and then and that's it. What can I say?????

Did I miss something somewhere about your leg, Tammy????? I didn't know. . .!!!

Hi Tammy, blessings certainly do come in unexpected ways. Glad to read that your leg is healed enough for you to drive, that the AC was fixed at no charge, AND that you shared those lovely photos of your parrot and daylily - good color matches.

Oh, Tammy- that was wonderful news! I love those simple fixes... and I love when our God takes care of the little things in our life.
I get "married" to my cars, so I know exactly what you're talking about.
Hope you're having a good week, dear...

Hope you are keeping cool. Our temperatures have turned toward the warm side and the flora are loving them!
