I haven't seen any robins in our part of the country.
They're so pretty.... love your pictures, especially the last one, he looks like he's posing for you.

I shudder to think where you were to take that roof top photo!!!!! If our ground wasn't frozen stiff, I'd dig some worms and overnight them to you but....! My mother was constantly trying to turn her Virginia red clay into rich black soil!! As for me, I know I'm nearing back home in Virginia when I start seeing that red clay! Did you know that it is actually nutritious? Field slaves used to wet it and form it into patties that they took into the fields to munch on. I think I'll just stick to a daily multi-vitamin myself.

Best,
Bonnie

A sure sign of spring!! Maybe they will leave a few worms for the soil. Carla

Now this is the one post that has cheered up my whole day and made me smile from ear to ear!!!!! Those robins look like the same ones that stripped my cherry laurel tree clean just a few weeks ago!!!! Little did they know that my compost pile was FULL of big, juicy worms!!!! You have clay, we have sand, so any worms are gold to us, too!

By the way, thank you for your comments. And I have NO IDEA why I can't have that port out. Supposedly, it has to do with the "when" the cancer comes back, I'll need it. Plus, they know that once you get it out, you never come back. So. . . . I'll keep it for a while longer. Don't know why it bothers me . . . for the very reason he said, it keeps me going back there!

Looks like all the Robins are on YOUR side of town Southern Lady!! It may be a good thing that your Robins were feasting on worms, since the poor worms that are left are surely to drown when we get over 2" of rain this weekend :-}}}

They are here in Texas digging up the worms too. I saw two in the front yard yesterday. I love birds and bird pictures. My sister says, "Oh, you and your birds!" Loved the pictures! You did a good job capturing them on camera!
