Who needs a bright sunny day when I have this in my face all day. I have the colors of spring and summer all year round. Playing around with the close-up lens attachment I never knew I had. I opened the box to get some more instructions out and to my surprise. Been stored away in that box for 5 years...
Our parrots are native to Brazil, can you imagine the colors there when they are all grouped together? I had the parrots on the patio the other day (in a cage of course) and the local hawk came circling over. Seems the Sun Conure (the yellow and orange one) must be considered a yummy meal in the hawk world... they are never far off and will even swoop in front of the picture window the parrots are sit in. The scream I hear from my parrots, adds another gray hair or two as I go see what has happen.
The lord knew we needed color so he put it in everything we see, ocean, plants life, sky and animals.

Your parrots are BEAUTIFUL!! Love their colors. If I remember correctly, doesn't Zoo Atlanta have these parrots? They are talkers aren't they? Male + Female? Babies?

Yesterday evening, Mike and were driving to Sonic for supper and the sun was going down. It was this huge ball of PINK that was so amazing... soooo AMAZING.....
I tried to take a picture but it just didn't capture the true wonder.
