The clean kitchen before my BIG FAT MESS I'm gonna' make...
The house is clean.......OH!!!....OH!!!!!!!... Picture this if you would please....... you are all sweaty, red-faced and your hair.......shall we say looks like 2 medium size parrots have been trying to nest in it...OKAY~~ you have a visual on that?......okay?...... okay. Hubby comes home and asked..... "what have you been doing all day hon?..... MY reply with wide open eyes, pupils starting to dilate.... "Cleaning!.... And he says, "It does not look like it, looks the same as when I left"......... Has that ever happen to you-all???? Well if and when it does...... know this!!!! ..... the house didn't need cleaning to begin with,
so save your strength.........
Back to what I was sayin'....I have the parrots up in their room to rest, play and KEEP QUIET.... the phone is on vibrate so I don't have to hear the ringing. I can lean over and reach the frig water dispenser that is in the frig door without getting up...AND..... I think if I had a potty chair........ I just might use it so I don't have to keep getting up for that particular function. When a potter is working all of that can be a distraction.
Food you ask?......... that is covered as well. I have several days of food cooked and sitting in the frig, just needs warming up. Quick and simple.
I have a 25 pound bag of clay sitting on the kitchen table and 2 more of those bags in the garage. I am set and ready to get to work and make a mess.
Will catch you all later this evening, that is if I have not frozen my touche to the chair. There is a medical term called "numb-butt".... I am sure to have it by tonight.... may have to soak in some hot water to get the feeling back but I wont forget you-all.
Hugs and talk soon....

I cannot wait to see what you do! This is exciting. :-)

Ooooh~ I can't wait to see whatcha been working on, Sweetie!
I love that little kitchen nook with the window seat. Sooo pretty. I'm eager to see what you are working on. My MIL has two parrots which rule her life. One continually asks, "what are you doing!" They are a lot of company to her. I agree that it is really nice to work on your craft when there aren't so many interruptions.
You go, girl!
Can't wait to see what you make. Carla
Oh, I'm so glad you didn't get into trouble with your hubby! :)
I'm so excited to know you're creating and will be looking forward to see what you're making!
Your kitchen looks really pretty!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Tammy,
That looks like a lot of fun...and it's okay to make a mess~ just have fun doing it!
wow, sounds like some interesting fun!
It is so discouraging when I spend the day cleaning and my husband gets home and I look around and feel like I have nothing to show for my efforts. I feel like I have to say, Really I've been working all day.
I can't wait to see what you create this time!! I've been working with clay the last few days too. We don't have a kiln, so anything I make just has to air dry. Not ideal, but still fun. I just make simple things here and there. Right now, I'm making some little fish. I'm going to use them to make a fun little accent for my son's room and in the bathroom.
Have fun!! ♥
I can't wait to see what you'll do in your "potter's shop"!! I wish our harsh environment would stir up some creativity in my head! The sun has been MIA for days and I've been missing it a lot! We had snow falling at bedtime last night but the temperature was almost 40 this a.m. so no sticking!! I'm now off to a rather long meeting and then errands. It will be nice to be out and about.
Happy creating!
Best,
Bonnie
